Youth For Unity And Voluntary Action (YUVA)

The Bombay Canteen’s Independence Day Daawat brings Mumbai together every 15th August over good food for a good cause.

This year, the Daawat continues its mission to Make Mumbai Green Again, by seeding a collaborative partnership with WRI India and YUVA, to enable Mumbaikars understand the city’s greening journey, amplify people and projects already making a difference, and find ways to participate.

Your donation will help bring this partnership to life and support on-ground greening efforts, with YUVA and WRI India as implementation partners. Planned projects include the transformation of open spaces at Lallubhai Compound, a resettlement colony in Mankhurd, into cooler, greener and thriving community spaces.

Funds raised through the Independence Day Daawat will support YUVA and WRI India towards the Make Mumbai Green Again initiative.
